Beauty Drive Brings Beauty Into the Lives of Terminally Ill Patients and Caregivers

The Beauty Bus Foundation, a non-profit organization committed to enhancing the quality of life for terminally or chronically ill people and their caregivers with free in-home beauty treatments, hosted their 2nd annual Beauty Drive “green carpet” fundraising event on Sunday, April 17, 2011 at the House of Blues in West Hollywood.  KCBS/KCAL Reporter Lisa Sigell hosted the event that honored beauty industry icon Ann Mincey, spokesperson, REDKEN 5th Avenue and Beauty Bus Board Member, for her continued commitment to making a difference in the lives of patients and caregivers. Partnering with the Beauty Bus Foundation, Genentech, Bosley Pro, Starshine Systems, Pravana, Joico, Redken, Nitesweatz, InStyler, Qosmedix, Pop Tinsel, ROBB, Glitz Beverly Hills and Epic Salon, will help raise money to bring beauty into the lives of patients and caregivers while giving Angelenos the chance to experience the transformative power that a beauty service offers.

"It is with giving that we all flourish. It is with selfless acts that we find our purpose. I support the Beauty Bus Foundation because they are an organization that brings beauty and love to those that need it most; the chronic and terminally ill and the unsung heroes, their caregivers," says host Lisa Sigell.
